Lets take this moment...

As some of you may know, I can be a tad bit forgetful at times. I try to be organized and remember everything, but on rare occasions, it is possible that something might slip past me.

An recent example occurred when the girls (Holly, Linds, Caitlin) came to visit me. I was in charge of the bus tickets for our bus ride to New York City, and I printed them out Sunday evening in preparation for Monday morning. That morning, we got up around 5:00am, got ready, and had about 5 minutes to spare before we had to leave to catch the train. In attempt to ensure we didn't forget anything, I suggested we "take this moment" to think of anything we might be forgetting. We took the moment and no one could think of anything we were missing, so we left. It was only once we left the house that I realized our bus tickets were still sitting on my desk. Luckily, I had time to grab them and we made our train just fine. But as we were hurrying to the train station, I called out, "good thing we took that moment!"

Honestly, if you can't laugh and make fun of yourself (especially when you are me and do/say stupid stuff quite often), you've got bigger problems. So, lighten up, we all do stupid things sometimes. You might as well get a good laugh out of it.

In an effort to reclaim "this moment" as something useful, I would like to take this moment to give an official thank you to Holly, Lindsay and Caitlin for the beautiful flowers they sent me! They really brighten up my room and I absolutely love them. Thanks again for visiting - I had a really great time. And remember, I will always be willing to take this moment with any one of you... :)
