I used to be embarassed when I did something stupid, and I hated it when people called me a dumb blonde. More recently, however, I have chosen to embrace it and join in on the laughter. I mean, if I didn't do stupid stuff, what the heck would my friends and I laugh at? Funny movies?... sitcoms?... improv shows?... nahhh... Who needs 'em when you can get a live show for free! (Taken out of context that last sentence could be very misleading... but you know what I mean!)I just found out that a bunch of my friends were hanging out back in Michigan the other day when someone said something about a poem... by some author... something-Frost, was it? Apparently, during this discussion, the infamous story was told about the time I wrote a paper in 10th grade English class. Lets just say, I may or may not have written a paper about a poem by none other than the great poet... Jack Frost. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately, because it was hilarious), I turned in the paper without noticing this mistake, and when I got it back, my teacher had written on it in big red ink: 'Or perhaps Robert?'
Holly was sitting next to me when I got my paper back, and I'm pretty sure we laughed for 40 minutes straight, or whatever was left of the class period. It was definitely a highlight of my high school days. I'm telling ya, being a ditz... totally worth it.
If this single story left you feeling unsatisfied, and you feel the need to laugh at other people's stupidity, I suggest you watch this:
